The Magic Finger

by Roald Dahl

The Magic Finger is about a little girl who is 8 years old that has a magic finger. When she gets mad, a spark shoots out from it and does really weird things to whoever she is mad at.

One day she sees her neighbors shooting ducks. She loves animals, so she gets mad. A spark shoots from her finger. The next morning, her neighbors have shrunk and giant ducks have taken over their house. This was a really funny book. I enjoyed it a lot.

Jason's Gold

by Will Hobbs

Jason's Gold is about a teenager named Jason Hawthorn. He finds out that gold has been discovered in Alaska. He leaves where he is living and heads for Alaska hoping to find gold. In one part, he runs into a moose and tries to kill it. The moose ends up hurting him very badly. This was a really good book because of all the exciting and cool things that happened. I loved this book and am very glad that I read it.

A Porcupine Named Fluffy

by Helen Lester and illustrated by Lynn Munsinger

It's about a porcupine named Fluffy, but Fluffy was not fluffy. I liked it when Fluffy met a rhinoceros named Hippo. It was funny when Fluffy was trying to not get wet in the rain. His quills would stick out of the umbrella. And when Fluffy slept on an air mattress, he popped the mattress. Fluffy also sticks to the door. It was a funny book.
