101 Ways to Bug Your Parents

Auntie Claus

But No Elephants

Upon the Head of the Goat

This book is a true story about Piri Davidowitz. She was a Jewish girl during World War 2. She was only nine years old when it started. This book is really sad but it's very good. The saddest part is when Piri's Aunt Luzja died from getting ran over by a train. This book is great. It tells you a lot about what really happened during the Holocaust.

101 Ways to Bug Your Parents

A boy nicknamed Sneeze plans to go to the Invention Convention during summer vacation. His summer plans are ruined when his parents sign him up for a summer writing class. But he regains hope when he starts selling the book he wrote called 101 Ways to Bug Your Parents. One of my favorite parts was when the kids who bought his book realized it wasn't very good and not what they expected and tried to beat him up until another boy nicknamed Ace rescues him. I felt kind of scared until Ace came to the rescue. Another thing that makes this a good book is that even though Sneeze gets signed up for summer school, he doesn't give up hope on going to the Invention Convention..

Auntie Claus

by Elise Primavera

There's this little girl who wants to know where her aunt goes on business trips from Thanksgiving to Valentines. She hides in one of her Aunt's trunks and ends up at the North Pole. It made me laugh when the little girl yells at a elf because she doesn't want to work. It was funny when the little girl goes home and she gets a key from her aunt so she can to the North Pole too.

This grandma, she lives all by herself and then this pet man asks her if she would like to buy a bird. He keeps asking her if she would like to buy some pets and she says "Yes, but no elephants." The pets help her with her work I was happy when she said the elephant could come inside because then the elephant wouldn't be sad. At the end there are lots of elephants.
