The Secret School

Ida Bidson really wants to be  a teacher, but to do that she has to finish 8th grade and go to high school. When her teacher, Miss Fletcher moves away and the school board closes the school early instead of finishing the term, it looks like there's no hope for Ida. But then one of the other students has a great idea-- Ida could be the teacher. Everyone agrees, but the school must remain secret, because if the school board found out it would mean big trouble.

This book was really good and I liked it alot.

In this book a boy named Arvin and some other kids go into a game where they have to figure out a mystery and solve it. They go back to Medieval times where there are lots of creatures from fairy tales.

Some things I liked about this book is everyone knows it's a simulation but it seems real. Some things in the book might seem to be a simulation but they actually cause a real danger. From werewolves to giant rats, this is a very exciting book with many hidden challenges for Arvin and his friends.

Hoodwinked

by Arthur Howard

There is this little witch who wants a pet like all of her relatives, but she can't find one. It's pretty funny when the witch says that the cat is cute. Then she says the cat is worse than cute, it's adorable. It's also funny when the lady says she has pet warthogs. Why would anyone want a warthog? That would just be weird because warthogs would make make a mess.

It's a funny book and the pictures are good. You should read this book

Frogs Jumps: A Counting Book

by Alan Brooks and illustrated by Steven Kellogg

This is a counting book and when you count it makes you smarter. There are animals in the book and you count the animals. When the frog eats everything it kind of makes me laugh. It's a fun, cool book.
