This book is about an orphan
named Widge who is an actor. When the Black Plague strikes the acting
company is forced to travel from town to town performing their plays.
After Shakespeare-- who is also in the acting company-- injures his arm,
Widge receives the honor of being his scribe and writing down his plays
for him. But Widge begins to wonder if the company really needs or wants
him. If you like action, suspense,
and unexpected twists, this is the book for you. It is really exciting
and fun to read. Reviewed

Brooks Wallace A boy named Taddy is kidnapped by some mean
tavern owners. Before that his aunt and uncle-- who he is staying with--
had told him he had to find his twin or else he would be in danger. He
is taken to the tavern and is treated very badly. After awhile he is
hired to be a servant boy to a rich family. While he is there he sees a
boy who he thinks might be his twin. Little does he know that many
surprises await him One of my favorite parts is when the other
boy, called Beetle and who also works in the tavern, tells Taddy that he
wants to be friends with him. It made me feel happy because Taddy finally
had a friend. One reason I really liked this book is because a lot of
things are definitely not what you expect. Reviewed

Roald Dahl and illustrated by Quentin Blake There's this fox who gets food from this
farm. The farmer gets mad at the fox because he his stealing their
animals. In one part the fox is digging underground to this cider place.
A rat comes and says you can't come in here, it's mine and I found it
first. Then the fox says, "I'll eat you." It's funny. You
should read it. Reviewed

DiTerlizzi Ted is this pinkish, purplish thing that
plays monopoly- twister with this boy. Ted cuts the boy's hair really
funny. Ted and the boy color on the walls and make an indoor swimming
pool in the den of the boy's house. My favorite part is when they play
space pirates and the boy's dad starts to like Ted. I also liked it when
they made an indoor swimming pool because I like going swimming. Reviewed
