The Moorchild

by Eloise McGraw

A young fairy named Moql lives in a place called the Mound with all the other fairies. One day it is discovered that she is half-human. Because of this she is banished and exchanged with a human child. After a few year, Mogl, who is now Saaski, forgets that she ever was a fairy. She still looks like one though and where she lives that can be very dangerous.

This book was really good. It has a very exciting plot that keeps you right on the edge of your seat. It also really makes you think and feel everything Sasski feels; from her loneliness in the village to her happiness when she finds a friend. This book is awesome.

Merlin's Mistake

by Robert Newman

A boy named Brian had always wanted to be a knight. He thinks he has found his chance when another boy named Tertius comes to Brian and asks him to go on a quest. One of my favorite parts was when Brian had to joust Sir Guy to see if Brian could go on the quest. I was worried because if he lost, Brian wouldn't e able to go on the journey. This book is very deceiving. You might be sure one thing is going to happen then something entirely different happens.

The Eleventh Hour

by Graeme Base

There's this elephant and he's turning eleven and he makes a feast and when it was time to eat, the feast was gone. So, he made sandwiches instead. You have to figure out who ate the feast. It's fun and the pictures are cool. If you like mysteries you should read this book.

One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish

by Dr. Seuss

This book has colors and lots of crazy animals. It has fish and I like going fishing. It's a rhyming book and I like rhyming books. It made me laugh when one of the silly guys is in bed and his feet stick out all night. When he pulls his feet in then his head sticks out all night.
