Ella Enchanted

 Pendragon: The Merchant of Death

Minnie and Moo and the Potato from Planet X

Ella Enchanted

by Gail Carson Levine

Ella is a very obedient girl, and I mean very obedient! At birth, Lucinda, the fairy, gave her the gift of obedience. But this "gift" is more curse than blessing. Anything Ella is told to do, she must do. So, she goes on a quest to find Lucinda and break the spell so she can be free.

This book was really cool. It had action, suspense, humor, and romance. Ella is easy to relate to in her frustration and her sadness. Ella Enchanted is a delight to read for anyone.

Pendragon: The Merchant of Death

by D.J. Machale

Bobby Pendragon was a normal boy, at least he was until his Uncle Press came and took Bobby through space and time to a place called Denduron. There the Milago miners are being tortured by the Bedoowan Knights. Bobby's uncle has been captured and it's up to Bobby to lead the Milago to fight back against the Bedoowan.

This is a great book with lots of action and surprises. From cannibalistic bears to evil transforming people, this is an awesome book.

Minnie and Moo and the Potato from Planet X

by Denys Cazet

This potato has this space ship and crashes on Earth and he had to deliver some Anti-Bump Cream, because if he didn't the planets would be bumping into each other. It's funny when Moo is trying to figure out what space fuel is. She figures out that it is milk and that is just really funny. There's another part that is really funny, that is when the thing that landed on earth is a potato and that it stopped for donuts.
