When Max discovers the box of
old wooden soldiers in the attic of his families new house, he thinks
they're just toys, nothing more. But soon he discovers that the Twelves
(as they call themselves) are alive and can walk and talk. He keeps this
magical secret from everyone but his sister, Jane, and later his brother
Phillip. But when word gets out that the Twelves may have once belonged
to the Bronte children, professors and museums offer large amounts of
money for the soldiers. How long will Max be able to keep and protect
his precious soldiers? This book was really fun to
read. I especially liked how each of the Twelves had their own distinct
personality. It was very entertaining. Reviewed

Wright Hodge has always dreamed of serving a
prince, but when amazingly one comes, it's not at all what he expected.
His guards won't let him leave his room and seem to be more like jail keepers.
When the prince escapes, Hodge is thrown into an adventure beyond his
wildest dreams. This book is full of betrayal, murder, chases, and
exciting action, making it a great book for everyone. Reviewed

Ellen Raskin There is this guy named Sam Westing and
everyone thinks he's dead inside his house on a rug rotting. Then all
nieces and nephews have to figure out which one of them killed Sam
Westing. While you read it you can try and find out who killed him on
your own. This book can be funny, scary, and serious
at parts. It's not just scary or funny, it's both. When you start
reading you can't stop because you're always at an exciting part. If you
like mysteries, then you should read this book. Reviewed

Jon Scieska and illustrated by Lane Smith There's these three guys that go to this
one place. Before they were at the one place they were sitting there
thinking what to do and then they went to Egypt because there was a
magic book. I like this book because it's fun and exciting. Reviewed
