by Stephenie Meyers
Twilight, the story of a girl who falls in love with a charming
vampire named Edward, is full of chilling suspense. The exhilarating plot
twists made it nearly impossible for me to stop reading. Meyer's writing is
awesome-simple and concise where it needs to be, and beautifully eloquent at
other times. It has something for everyone. The love story will enthrall
romantics and action lovers will find plenty of violence to satisfy them. However, the depressing lack of character depth in the main
character, Bella, disappointed me. Edward, and his fellow vampires are beautifully developed and full of complexity. However, Bella seems
strangely flat and generic. She seems like a nice enough character, and I
admire her selflessness and courage, but I would really like to get to know
her better. Despite these drawbacks, Twilight is a beautiful piece of
literature. The descriptiveness and the suspense weave together to create
one exciting, enchanting story that is nearly impossible to stop reading. I
triple-dog-dare you to try and put it down.

by Pirate Princess - age 16 by David Clement-Davies The Sight is a fantasy book about a pack of wolves who must work together to destroy the evil wolf Morgra, as well as her associates, a wolf named Wolfbane, a vicious pack of wolves known as the Night Hunters, as well as the scavengers, such as the crows and the ravens. Although it is a little difficult to understand the different words that the wolves have for different things, this is an excellent book that will be enjoyed by readers of many different ages. This book takes place in the winter in the snowy mountains of Transylvania. The wolves in the story travel all over the countryside, including into abandoned caves in the mountains, ruined castles, forests, and rivers. The author does an outstanding job of describing in great detail every feature of the landscape, and every aspect of the characters’ personalities creating a vivid picture of everyone and everything inside the readers mind.
Few books can match the spectacular quality of this riveting, spellbinding book. I would highly recommend this incredible book to everybody, especially fantasy-lovers. Reviewed

Rick Riordan What would it be like to have your father be Zeus or Hermes? Would it be fun? Well, there's this camp called camp half blood where every one with a father or mother who is a god goes. All of them thought they were normal people with ADHD. There was this one boy who goes to the camp knowing that his father was one of the gods but doesn't know which one. After he finds out who his father is (I'm not going to tell, that would give away half the book!) he is
accused of stealing Zeus's lightning bolt. He knows he didn't steal it but if he doesn't get it back to Zeus in ten days he will be punished!! Come on an exciting adventure fighting monsters such as medusa and Hades three headed dog!! Reviewed

Jean Happing In this book it tells about blizzards and
how blizzards can be really dangerous. It also tells about some of the
most deadly blizzards in history. A blizzard is where there is a ton of
snow and it's really windy. The reason why blizzards are so dangerous is
because there would be snow on the ground and plus it is really windy so
it makes it hard to walk in the snow and it is really hard to see where
you are going. Another reason is they can put a lot of damage to
buildings. If you want to learn about blizzards you should read this
book. Reviewed
