Ludlum
While navigating through a storm, a fishing boat near Marseilles recovers an unconscious man floating in the water with three bullet wounds in his body. When the man wakes up, he remembers nothing of his past, but with the help of a local doctor, he attempts to recover his lost memory and create a new identity for himself. However, while discovering the dark secrets of his past, he soon is thrust deep into danger when for reasons unknown to him, he learns he is being hunted by Carlos, the most deadly assassin in the world. He must now evade Carlos and his subordinates and uncover the truth about his past life before Carlos as well as his haunting fragments of memory destroy him. Ludlum does a superb job of combining intense action and mystery in this thrilling novel. Although many teens would likely enjoy this fantastic book, adults especially will love this excellent work of fiction with its exciting and unexpected twists and turns throughout the book.. Reviewed

Westerfield Her whole life Tally had been ugly. She, of course, wasn’t the only one. Everyone under the age of 16 was an ugly. Tally had three months before her 16th birthday and couldn’t wait to undergo the surgery that would turn her pretty. But when Tally’s best friend Shay runs away because she does not want the surgery, Tally is faced with the most important decision of her life. She can turn Shay in and tell the authorities where Shay had been hiding, or she can remain ugly the rest of her life.

Brandon Mull Kendra and Seth are staying over at their
grandparent's house for a while. While they're there, they discover
secrets about the woods next to their grandparent's house. In the woods
there are mystical creatures, some good and some bad. They go a little
too far and break the rules. One night in the summer all of the
creatures come out and destroy things. Again they break rules and get in
a lot of danger, and they may cause their loved ones to get
killed. Fablehaven is a wonderful adventure. It
feels like your inside of the book. It is great. Reviewed

It’s about a man who’s really old who has to go to a lot of doctors. He has to go to this one doctor where there’s lots of pills he has to take. I liked the pictures because they’re really
funny. Reviewed

This book is full of action and adventure. It constantly was keeping me on the edge of my chair. My favorite part of the book was while Tally was alone in the wilderness, trying to survive.
